Bolton Skating Club congratulates Jordan Hughes on obtaining her Gold Status in the dance discipline of Skate Canada Testing.
On March 5, Hughes tested the Argentine Tango to add to her previous passes on the Viennese Waltz, Quickstep and Westminster Waltz.
It takes many years of hard work and dedication to pass the 21 dances required to complete the dance discipline. These dances are required to be performed with a partner and are evaluated on various aspects of rhythm, timing and execution.
Hughes is adding her gold dance status to her previous gold skills to become a double gold skater.
She wishes to express her sincere gratitude to her coach, Sharon Hoxey and her dance partner Trevor Orzeck.
