Teens charged in computer thefts

Five computers were stolen from Patlon Aircraft on Fifth Line during a break and enter early Tuesday morning. The front door was smashed to gain entry.
Halton Police report a similar break-in occurred about eight minutes after the entry at Patlon into Semco Systems on nearby Parkhill Dr. in Milton.
As a result of investigation by both Halton and Peel Police two 17-year-old males from Mississauga have been charged with two counts each of break and enter and possession of stolen property.
Approximately $7,000 worth of stolen items were recovered.

An iPod FM transmitter was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Eaton St. sometime between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Two teen males were seen running from the vehicle. One was 5’10”, the other 5’7”.

Two artificial ornamental trees, 4.5 ft. tall, were stolen from in front of a Delrex Blvd. residence sometime late Sunday or early Monday. The trees were valued at $70 each.

A  $200 TomTom GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle at a Chaplin Cr. home sometime between 1 and 6:45 a.m. Tuesday.

A Mississauga man has been charged in connection with the theft of a wallet containing a credit card from a vehicle on Park Ave. in July.
The victim’s credit card had been used at several locations in Peel.
Charged Saturday with theft under $5,000 and fraudulent use of a credit card is Ernest William Charbonneau, 31, of Lewis Dr.

A Blackberry, Nintendo DS and in-line skates valued at $1,000 in total were taken sometime late Monday or early Tuesday from a vehicle parked at a Miller Dr. Georgetown residence.
