Halton’s Red Cross branches merge

The Canadian Red Cross Oakville, Burlington and North Halton branch councils have merged, creating one council for Halton Region.
“We are excited about the opportunity to work together as one strong and viable Red Cross in Halton,” said Council President Pat Gaudet.
The community branch offices located in Milton, Burlington and Oakville will remain unchanged.
This year’s members of the Halton Region Red Cross Council are: President Pat Gaudet, Vice President, Burlington -Vacant, Vice President, Oakville Kim Reeves; Vice President, North Halton Jean Lodge; Past Presidents John S. Robertson, Jane Ann Newson; Members at Large Peter Zalauf, Allan Wright, Jackie Stoddart; Disaster Management Jack Lodge; Public Relations John Robertson; Safety Services Antonio Distefano
“All members of the council are volunteers who dedicate their time, skills and leadership to the Red Cross and the community,” said Gaudet.
